Camel ride and 1 night in desert camp Merzouga
This camel trek begins in evening and it will take 1,5 hour. We organise the camel ride for the night in desert. We start from a hotel near the sand dunes, and our camels will be packed with foods, blankets and everything important. We will spend the night in an equipped desert camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara. You will have perfect opportunity to take beautiful pictures of the sunset and sunrise. When we arrive at the camp we walk to the high dunes to see the sunset. During the night, we will enjoy dinner around a campfire, and we will spend the night in nomad tents. In the morning we will ride the camels backing to Merzouga village to our hotel , where we’ll have the breakfast and shower.
Departure from Zagora around 11 am towards Erg Chegaga through Tizi Anagame and Ben Selmane. Then you discover the desert taking off-road for 2 hours to reach the big dunes of Chigaga. You will have a camel ride before the sunset. Tea and dinner is served in a nomadic Berber tents, kicking off an evening where local atmosphere assured. you will sleep in a Berber tent .
Sunrise is a magical moment not to be missed. After enjoying your breakfast we will leave Chegaga toward Zagora, taking the direction of the last village in Draa Valley by another off-road. On our way back we will make a stop to visit the Koranic library in Tamagroute. Arrival in Zagora around noon.
